Looking at Horace’s baptism record (Matton, Marcellin, Correspondance inédite de Camille Desmoulins (1836) p. 126-127) it can be noted that he had a civic baptism that didn’t include any godparents. Therefore, only two witnesses are there for the ceremony and neither is Robespierre.
