Basically, Man Singhji's eldest son, Jagat Singh had to be his successor but he had died during the reign of Man Singhji. So, Jagat Singhji's eldest son, Maha Singhji had to judicially be the heir for throne. But he too, had died in Man Singhji's reign. Maha Singhji's son was Mirza Raja Jai Singhji but during Man Singhji's demise, he was only 3 years old.
