  • curprev 18:1818:18, 26 April 2023Aidan.Teague talk contribsm 22,950 bytes +2,041 Added citations to the first paragraph of the "Aftermath and modification" section to support the claims made throughout. Also added a new sentence that provides more information on those who volunteered to serve, but in non-combat roles. This shows that the National Gurard wasn't the only way to serve in the military but still avoid combat during Vietnam. undo Tag: Visual edit

I also changed the part it claimed that these antiwar protests were occurring mostly in "left wing circles" to saying it occurred with in civil rights groups as the former was a little too general and lacked any citation, the latter being more specific into which "left wing" groups were protesting the war and having a citation. undo Tag: Visual edit
  • curprev 17:4317:43, 26 April 2023Aidan.Teague talk contribs 19,221 bytes +1,602 I rewrote the first paragraph of the Origins section. While the original paragraph did include accurate and relevant information, it lacked citations. So, I rewrote it, going a little more in depth and included new citations. I did decide to keep the introductory sentence as it was a good answer for the question of "why" that led well into the "Origins" section. undo Tag: Visual edit
