Requested moves
Hello Vegaswikian. I just noticed your move of Sales and operations plan to Sales and Operations Planning from an RM. You followed the requested move direction without noting the capitalization issue, that I had moved it from a capitalized name to uncapitalized as it's not a proper noun. You also didnlt fix any of the double redirects. I then noticed that in your moves of U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology you also didn't fix the four double redirects created by the move; same for the move of North Korean won. In your move of KÀ to Kà, you didn't fix any of the fair use rationales in the images linked through the page. I've just now fixed the multiple double redirects created by the moves of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the FURs for their images, and note that you did not fix the category sort key for either. I don't know how far back these go but please don't close requested moves if you do not know the procedures for cleaning up after the moves. Specifically, all double redirects need to be fixed, all images containing fair use rationales need to be pointed at the new title and the category sorts should be fixed.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:53, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Huangshan Mountains

I believe your move of this page was not conducted right and should be undone pending further discussion; I left you a message at Talk:Huangshan Mountains#Requested move. Thank you, rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 00:04, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category dropped

Hi. I don't understand this edit you made [1] and a similar one - is this something to do with the renaming? The categorisation seems to fit with the pattern in Category:Multiple units by countryShortfatlad (talk) 01:19, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I see - but currently Turkish state railways is a monopoly - thus the distinction is slight. I see your point though - I'll create Category:Multiple units of Turkey then, so that searchers looking inside Category:Multiple units by country don't miss out.
Carry on, good precision. Maybe one day there will be another turkish railway company :)

TRAXX - loco templates

Hello I think(hope) you may be more expert on this topic than me.

I would like to re-add the navigation templates ie:

German diesel locomotives German electric locomotives SNCF locos

to the TRAXX article.

I understand that in the past there has been a problem with people using templates to automatically add categories to articles - which can cause issues. However I have in the past removed the "cats" from these templates and individually categorised the relevent articles...

I think it will be ok to re-add but I don't fully understand part of the Template:German diesel locomotives

ie this bit:

{{cat handler | main = <!--Categorize in main (article) space--> | nocat = {} <!--So "nocat=true" works--> }}

Anyway is this edit ok? [2]

My personal view is that nav templates should not be used for categorisation, but it looks like the "nocat=true" can help fix any problems (only just found out about that).

No reply message means no problems. Thanks. :)

Yes, situation normal

I'm fairly certain I manually did all DB locos, but just for DB/DR/DBAG cat classification, and not "Diesel locomotives of Germany" - so it shouldn't be removed (yet). It looks like TRAXX is categorising properly now, so I think everything is ok.Shortfatlad (talk) 02:59, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion close

Quick apology for [3] I waited a couple of minutes and saw you hadn't closed it yet. My mistake. You might want to remove the note ("I closed this discussion and not the person who actually tagged it as closed the first time") because the discussion was closed twice before I closed it just now, so it may be confusing. One user closed it prematurely [4] when I saw this I changed it to the current consensus, without thinking about it being too early [5] ~ ς ح д r خ є ~ 03:21, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, as a certain editor is also closing the move discussion at Talk:Eclipse (2010 film)‎ early, despite being unable to do the move, would you mind closing that one and performing it as well? -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 15:13, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please look again

Your !vote at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2009 December 12 mis-reads the article you relied upon to arrive at the !vote. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 00:37, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than argue further, I've provided an alternate proposal that might not trigger your objection. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 06:26, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
