There are many beautiful patterns on YuHua Stone , when you appreciate it , you may associate the pattern with a kind of animal or flower and show your ability of imagination , it is quite an amazing thing .what’s more ,there is a legend about the origin of YuHhua Stone that an accomplished monk. According some legend ，his name is YunGuang and his lived in Nan Dynasty came to NanJing to deliver sermons ,he sat on the GuangHua Gate for 3 days without eating or drinking , his sincerity moved the God deeply , so the God dropped thousands of beautiful flowers from the sky just like rain to reward the monk . The flowers dropped on the ground and became a kind of fantastic stone which is later called YuHua Stone by the disciples . Now YuHua Stone is becoming more and more famous not only in China but also in the world . |

YuHua Stone (Chinese 雨花石 yuhua shi "rain flower stone") is a kind of stone which is very famous in China, and can only be found in Nanjing, because of the special condition of geology in NanJing, where stones are quite different from that in other places.
