Stanka Glišić, the sister of renowned Serbian writer Milovan Glišić, dedicated her life to pedagogy and as such received the highest recognition for her life's work -- the Order of Saint Sava. Her demeanour was entirely imbued in work like an old Russian Revolutionary who was always dressed in sporting attire and by so doing showed her political and ideological stance of a progressive woman who wanted to make a difference literally and culturally.
