Hi, I removed your access to AWB, as it seems like you are using the tool for fixing signatures. I don't know about you, but that is a fairly controversial thing to be doing with the tool. There have been several Requests for comment over this issue. Cheers! —— Eagle 101 (Need help?) 00:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

| Your access to VandalProof has been temporarily revoked
You have been temporarily removed from the list of authorized users for the following reason: You have reverted several good-faith, non vandalism edits using VandalProof. Diffs: VandalProof is not a tool to be used in content disputes. Please discuss the matter with me so we can rule out these problems and reinstate your VandalProof access. Your question on IRC

Hi - sorry I wasn't there to reply to the question you asked me on IRC yesterday. The answer was no, not yet. Martinp23 23:42, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking the time to answer. That was the first time I'd ever been on IRC (I've only used MSN) and I'd thought I'd done something wrong since you weren't answering :) Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 23:54, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interview series

User talk:Anthony cfc/key/Unresolved

I strongly believe that interviews would be better as a less active, or perhaps unscheduled, feature, rather than something occurring on a regular basis. No need to tie ourselves down to a particular schedule- only interview on important announcements or events. More importantly, we should not interview regular Wikipedians; the notability of any given Wikipedian is questionable, and possibly vanity. Ral315 (talk) 01:23, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have taken your points on board; let me point out, the interviews were never meant to be scheduled. I had the idea of running approximately every 2 to 4 weeks, but this was later changed to (basically) whenever there was news.
Moreover, the only interviewees will be members of the Foundation and questions will be based on the Foundation; the exception to this is the first interview with Mr. Wales which will be centred around recent events on the english wikipedia, including the deletion of Esperanza and his views on such organisations. I realise this may not be to your liking, but rest assured that the subsequent WikiInterviews will be solely based on foundation issues.
Feel free to suggest any questions for the next interviewee, User:Mindspillage (Kat Walsh) which is scheduled to occur soon after the WMF board meeting of which she is a member.
Cheers and regards,
Anthonycfc [TC] 01:27, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I must also express my objection to asking Jimbo about Esperanza and other organizations, something that he had little to do with and on the whole doesn't compare to other questions that can and should be asked of him. Ral315 (talk) 02:13, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As I have already stated on Signpost space, I intend to cancel Jimbo's interview in place of a more relevant Mindspillage interview regarding the recent WMF Board meeting. However, it would appear both rather odd and downright disrespectful to Wales if I said "oh, we don't want to interview you any more" ... I most certainly would feel offended :) I look for your advice in this matter - Anthonycfc [TC] 02:17, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Anthony. Feel free to accept a RfM case to mediate. That is the best way that the current MEDCOM members can assess your mediating ability. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Regards --דניאל - Danielrocks123 contribs 02:45, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply; I was beginning to think I'd been forgotten :) I'll get down to it next time I'm on Wikipedia - a fresh start, and all. Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 02:47, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

Do you want everything deleted? Or just the header? Prodego talk 02:51, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Everything that's marked please - I've got so many defunct and unused subpages :) If you are intending to delete everything that's marked, thanks a lot. Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 02:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
NawlinWiki and I got it. The problem was you were transcluding the deletion template to a bunch of pages through the header, and I wound up just using your contribs instead. I checked all of NawlinWiki's deletions, and they were all marked (no transclusions) except for two redirects (I don't think that would matter). Prodego talk 02:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for your help :) Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 03:01, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jews for Jesus mediation

You may wish to contact everyone involved and let them know you'll mediate if we'll agree. I think to have it done as a "trial" case we all have to agree again. (I'd certainly be fine with you mediating it.) Seraphimblade 03:03, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As stated in the above conversation, I intend to deal with the matter tomorrow. However, because you've brought it up, I will re-contact everybody. Regarding your opinion, you are indeed correct - trial cases require a repeated agreement between all users.

What are you changing

I reverted this change. What was the nature of the edit? "Clean up" says nothing. Michael Z. 2007-01-08 06:41 Z

There was a possibility that when using AutoWikiBrowser, I accidentally hit "save" rather than "ignore" when there was nothing to clean; my apologies, and thank you for bringing it to my attention. Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 11:59, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Lord of the Rings (1978 film) featured article nomination

Your concerns have been taking care of. Take a look at the current revision and reevaluate the article. (Ibaranoff24 09:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Thank you for addressing my concern; the substantial red links have now been removed, and I have changed my opinion from "reject" to "support". Anthonycfc [TC] 12:08, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation Committee Case

As far as your question on my talk page, I'm not completely sure. I'm also pretty new to MEDCOM, so I'm not 100% familiar with everything that goes on. I'd say, for now, just work on the case that you accepted to mediate. --דניאל - Danielrocks123 contribs 17:59, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interview

Sure, I'd be willing; thanks for thinking of me. When do you want it by? This week is somewhat busy for me but next week is better. Cheers, Kat Walsh (spill your mind?) 23:24, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My edits to your sub pages

Hi. You'll probably notice that I've edited a few of your sub pages to remove references to templates in your user space (such as Pageborder) that you'd flagged for deletion as owner requests deletion and which had been deleted. I'm not sure what's going on, and it looks as if it might be a bug in the MediaWiki software, but what happened was that every page that still referred to one of the tagged templates appeared to be tagged as WP:CSD#U1 even after the template was deleted. So I've removed the redlinked template from the affected pages (I suspect making any change on one of the affected pages and saving it would have worked; the most sensible change seemed to me to be to remove a template that no longer existed). Sorry if I've caused you any inconvenience, but I thought you might like the pages off CAT:CSD! Regards, Tonywalton  | Talk 09:54, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem; thanks for your useful help, which is a real example of WP:GNOMING :) Regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 18:26, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mind explaining the massive removal of comments/replies from the help desk? ViridaeTalk 20:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please accept my humblest apologies - it was completely accidental. I was extending a short help comment regarding Esperanza, and I don't have a clue what happened. Please understand it was in good faith and, even if it was stupid, it wasn't vandalism. Once again, please accept my apologise. If you know of anyone that was affected, please direct my attention to them so I can apologies to them as well. A thousand apologies, and regards, Anthonycfc [TC] 20:54, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

Mind if i do the same thing as you did on your little "[T • C]" thing on your signature :P --Catz 23:11, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! It's located at User:Anthony cfc/signature; just ignore all the other stuff, especially the <!---commentedout---> code. Regards, Anthonycfc [TC]
Ok, thanks :) --Catz [TC] 23:20, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
