Gan Mao Ling (simplified Chinese: 感冒灵; traditional Chinese: 感冒靈) is a formulation of Chinese Herbs that is used in the early stages of cold or flu. It is purported to alleviate the symptoms and shorten the duration of a cold or flu.[1][2][3]

The ingredients and traditional functions are:

  • Ilex root, Gang Mei Gen, clears heat and resolves toxins
  • Evodia leaf, San Cha Ku, clears heat and resolves toxins
  • Chrysanthemum flower, Ju Hua, disperses wind-heat, clears liver heat, cools lung heat
  • Vitex herb, Huang Jing Cao, disperses wind-heat, cools lung heat
  • Isatis root, Ban Lan Gen, clears heat, cleans toxin
  • Lonicera flower, Jin Yin Hua, clears heat, cleans toxin, relieves the surface[4][5]
