Acalamari I have been registered with Wikipedia for just less than three months, and I already have over 1,000 edits, which have included many contributions to the articles about Paris Hilton, Aly & AJ, Fergie (singer), and various Star Trek articles. I have edited other articles, but these edits are the most notable. Another reason I'm requesting an editor review is because interested to know what other Users think about me, my edits, and how I'm doing overall. If there are any problems people have with me, I would like to know. Acalamari 03:48, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

*First off, welcome to wikipedia. Besides your bad taste in music (well, that's a bit objective, isn't it) you've certainly been making valuable contributions. You've obviously spent a lot of time working on specific articles, which I like to see; often concentrated efforts on one article can go a lot farther than willy-nilly edits to a whole scape of articles... I also see you've posted a good deal on talk pages, which is helpful; just because its a wiki doesn't mean its advisable to edit the work of others without thinking of what they think. Input and consensus is vital. You've also been helpful at WP:AIV and RfCs, which is also a good indicator. I would just like to encourage you to keep up the good work and perhaps think about joining a wikiproject you like. Dåvid ƒuchs (talk • contribs) 20:07, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I say that I'm pleased with most of my contributions. I haven't vandalized or done anything like that. There are a few of my edits which I'm not too happy about, but I don't have many of them fortunately. I shouldn't have posted foolish Talk Page messages in my early days, but I am past that now. As I mentioned above, there are a selection of articles which I have worked the most on, but they are not my only edits. Some other pages which I've worked on, but not quite as much as the ones above, include: Alyson Michalka, Amanda Michalka, Michael Richards, Daniel Rodriguez, and also, The Best Damn Thing.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Yes, a User vandalized my User Page, as well as some others, and when they were blocked, they created sockpuppets and vandalized again. This User was dealt with by an Administrator, but I have dealt with other vandals and disruptive Users on my own, and will continue to do so. I was also in a Mediation over a genre, but that has been dealt with as well.
  • Comment The answer to 1 is vague. If you want people to give feedback on your edits (& you have > 1000 of them) , you need to be more specific than that. Tintin 15:04, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have done this now. Acalamari 21:23, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
