Plot

The story opens with featuring Thapki, a lively girl who is blessed with a melodious voice. However, she stammers whenever nervous, causing it to be a major obstacle on her path to accomplishing her dreams. Purab Singhania is a rich, handsome yet strict man, who believes in timeliness. Purab’s mother, Veena Devi Singhania, is a Padmashree award-winner, who is also Thapki’s role-model.

Thapki’s illegitimate father, left her years ago, also causing Thapki’s mother to lose her voice completely. Presently, Thapki and her mother live with their relations. Thapki’s step-sister, who lives with Thapki’s father, Hanshika, is having an affair with Purab and together, they are planning a remix of a song which was sung by Veena Devi.
