Shakti Pratap Singh Rathore (born 10 November 1979)[2] is an Indian Politician belonging to Indian National Congress,[3] currently serving as the Co-Coordinator of Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti.[4]

Early Life

Shakti Pratap Singh Rathore was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan[5] and completed his schooling from St. Anselm's Senior Secondary School, Ajmer and graduation from Government College of Ajmer and higher studies from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University.[6]

Political Journey

In 2000 Shakti Pratap Singh Rathore got attached to National Students' Union of India during the college tenure and later Stood for the Student Union Presidential Elections(2002) in Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University[7] and became the principal NSUI leader of that university by becoming the First President elected on an National Students' Union of India ticket.[8] Soon after that he was appointed as the Secretary of National Students' Union of India and then Vice President of National Students' Union of India.[9]

In 2015 he stood for the Panchayat Samiti Member Election and became the Member of the board on an Indian National Congress Ticket. [10]
