This case is fairly complicated, so I'll be as clear as I can. All the accounts I am about to list appear to be editing from the same country; to be fair, they edit from IP ranges that geolocate to the same area, but I'm not sure how credible geolocation is in the context of this country (as I am fairly unfamiliar with it) and some of the ranges appear to be proxies, while others do not appear to be. Furthermore, the UAs seem to be all over the place. {{br}} That said, the following accounts seem to be very {{likely}} operated by the same person:

– This SPI case is open.

Suspected sockpuppets

Cianzera, who has been indef blocked on Russian Wikipedia, runs several socks. One of them, Lauriswift911, has just been blocked on enwiki for racial slurs and personal attacks. The other socks, as confirmed by Q-bit array, include Th3Shoudy, Foggy kub and Kozaryl. The first piece of evidence comes from the Russian Wikipedia, where all of these accounts have been blocked. The reason provided for all of these blocks is sock puppetry: Lauriswift911, Th3Shoudy, Foggy kub, and Kozaryl.

This issue was first raised on the English Wikipedia last month by Kazman322, who pointed out that Lauriswift911 admitted to using multiple accounts (or sharing an account?). He basically wrote "Foggy kub is my friend, and he just went to my account, do not be offended by your story, you lost and won, this article has the right to be." At the time Lemonaka replied by saying that his account had been compromised and that it had to be reported. It seems no action was taken.

The issue was brought up again on enwiki by Bogomolov.PL on February 3, 2023, although on an AfD discussion page. There Bogomolov.Pl wrote as follows:

User:Lauriswift911 is a sock-puppet of the User:Cianzera (checkuser test in Russian Wikipedia): blocked indefinitely in Russian Wikipedia (2 September 2022) with reason Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry [29] The English Wikipedia on the personal page of this account User:Lauriswift911 says that his nickname in social networks is @cianzera and his ideology is Nationalism. 23 January 2023 account Lauriswift911 attempted to create a duplicate account called Cianzera911 [30]. This account created the article Kyrgyz Confederation 20 January 2023.

He also wrote that this person has numerous other sock-puppets, including Foggy254, Torsva45, Teodor342 ftk, X-man super, Konstanta.A, Лис По, Xakasya911.

This issue was again discussed on the Administrator's Noticeboard last week. As DIYeditor has rightly pointed out, some of the articles created by Lauriswift911 are potentially hoaxes. After Bogomolov.PL commented by writing I guess we are dealing with a cross-wiki vandal who has created a whole "team" of sockpuppets. He works on the subject of Kyrgyzstan, primarily the history of Kyrgyzstan, the discussion was simply archived and no action was taken.

While discussing Lauriswift911's behavior on the Administrators' Noticeboard today on February 10, 2023, I was advised to file an FTI here. The discussion there also includes relevant information and comments, including by Q-bit array.

The second piece of evidence comes from the contributions of these accounts. Take Th3Shoudy and Lauriswift911, for instance. Both have edited the articles on the Kyrgyz Khanate (this article could potentially be a hoax, by the way), List of wars involving Kyrgyzstan, Yenisei Kyrgyz Khaganate, List of wars involving Tajikistan, 2022 Isfara missile attacks, and Kyrgyzstan. Or take the improbable 'coincidence' on Commons, also pointed out by Bogomolov.PL:

Outside of the English Wikipedia, the "kinship" of accounts may indicate that these accounts uploaded maps of the same type to Wikimedia Commons:

Cianzera:File:Map of Kyrgyz Union.jpg; Kozaryl:

Last week's discussion on the Administrator's Noticeboard also has some useful comments, inducing by Ymblanter and Salvio. The latter reprimanded Bogomolov.PL for not opening filing an SPI, so here we go. I hope I got everything. One final thing, all these accounts contribute in broken English, so maybe that's also an indication of shenanigans (although a rather tenuous one, I must say). بلاد ما وراء النهر (talk) 20:11, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

To begin with, you need to clarify. I'm Th3Shoudy, not affiliated with the above mentioned accounts in any way, I know user Lauriswift911 by sight, nothing more. The Q-bit array user showed complete incompetence by blocking me on the Russian Wikipedia without trial, in my defense I will ask you to compare my IP and IP Lauriswift911. About the article Kyrgyz Khanate, they already tried to remove it as a "mystification", but the article was protected as a result, you can check this by reading the archive of the nomination for deletion.[1]

The following accounts are  Confirmed to one another:

If we accept that the two groups are operated by the same person, then Surapbaeva (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is also a sock of theirs.
Finally, we also have Th3Shoudy (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) who appears to be editing on the same IP ranges as Foggy kub and the others, but the technical similarities end there. All the rest is stale.
In the end,  Behavioural evidence needs evaluation. Salvio giuliano 21:21, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
