At the time, her mother, Skye, was trying to escape from her father, mobster [[Lorenzo Alcazar]], because she felt his mob life was not healthy for the baby; even though Alcazar vowed to be a part of his child's life. [[Robert Scorpio]] helped her run away. Skye was in hiding for the last months of her pregnancy and could not resist to call her adoptive father, [[Dr. Alan Quartermaine]]. Her call betrayed her location. When Skye returned from shopping for baby toys she found Alcazar waiting for her at her residence. When Skye went outside for a moment she saw [[Luke Spencer]] who, she knew would help her escape Alcazar. She yelped from shock and when Alcazar questioned her she covered up by saying the baby moved. She let him feel her stomach and at that moment Luke and Robert arrived. Luke, Robert and Alcazar were holding each other at gunpoint when Alcazar demanded Luke's gun. As Alcazar bent down to reach for it Skye smashed a block to his head. As he crumpled Skye felt contractions coming as she was leaving with Luke and Robert for the hospital. Alcazar awakened and told Luke to put Skye on the couch. Skye told Luke she wanted Alcazar to help her deliver her baby. The delivery went well and Skye and Alcazar bonded over their baby girl. |
