Scott Buck is an American television writer.

Buck has written for several television series including Everybody Loves Raymond, COACH and The Oblongs. Buck recently wrote a teleplay for Tremors 4: The Legend Begins in 2004.

Buck joined the cast of Six Feet Under in 2002 during the show's second season. He was joined by Jill Soloway who he had worked with on The Oblongs and Nikki. He contributed 7 episodes to the series and also served as co-executive producer during the fifth and final season. Buck also served as co-executive producer on the second season of HBO's ROME, for which he wrote two episodes. He is currently co-executive producer on Showtime's "Dexter."
