Olenegorsk (Russian: Оленего́рск) is a town in Murmansk Oblast, Russia, located beyond the Arctic Circle, 112 km south of Murmansk. Population: 25,166 (2002 Census). Founded in 1916. Town status since 1957. Economy is based on iron ore extraction and processing.
