Amjad Bobby (Urdu: امجد بوبی) (died 2005) was an acclaimed Pakistani music composer. He was one of the most talented Music Composer of Urdu Music. He started his career in late sixty as an assistant to Music Composers he worked with Khuja Khursheed Anwar, Rasheed Attre and A.Hameed as assistant. In 1978 he scored his first hit song Ik Bar Milo Hum Se Tu Saobar Milaenge sung by Salma Agha and himself this song was super hit and from that time there was no one to stop his Music.


Awards and Recognisation

He achieved Nigar Awards for Bobby , Mushkil , Sangam , Ghoongat ' Deewane Tere Piyar K , Ghar Kab Aao Gey , Tere Piar Mein and Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua. He also achived Bolan Award for best Music Composer Mujhey Jeene Do.


Work With Singers

He worked not with only Pakistani Singers but also used Singer from India he worked with Salma Agha , Akhlaque Ahmed , A Nayer , Waris Baig , Shazia Manzoor , Humaira Channa , Arshad Mehmood , Kumar Sanu , Udit Narain , Alka Yagnik , Sonu Nigam , kavita Krishnamorti and Jispendar Nirola

Special Appearances

It is interesting to note that In Nigar Award Amjad Bobby sung a song of his movie Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa the song is originally sung by Arshad Mehmood but due to his busy schedule he could not come so he sang for him like a Rock Star. He also sing a song in Javed Sheikh Movie Mushkil and he performed this song on stage several times.
