did anyone even bother to look at the link? it doesn't go to a commercial site, it is a research site. i personally know ONE of the people who got the award so i have an interest, that person is NOT on Wikipedia, i have no association with Maxwell, sharma, bennis or others who's leadership award ranking i placed on their Biographies. i also have no affiliation with the leadership gurus people. and it was my impression that this type of award is considered worthy (it's for the world). on warren Bennis i just saw that it stated what wall street journal said about him, a little PRish maybe, but still says something about the guy (Who I do NOT know by the way)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Arthur Carmazzi do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/user/carmazziTV) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 06:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. April 2008

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Arthur Carmazzi, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Qworty (talk) 21:52, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leadership Gurus

You seem to have added a lot of links to the Leadership Gurus website. Some of these changes look a little spammy, since "Global Gurus International" is not a very well-developed/high reputation organisation. I would suggest waiting for the organisation or its awards to be a little more recognised before adding them to wikipedia articles. Natebailey (talk) 03:41, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is pure spam, straight from the can. This IP has been cautioned previously about spamming, for a related site. --Ckatzchatspy 05:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to John C. Maxwell. StaticGull  Talk  12:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for a period of 12 hours from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. xenocidic (talk) 12:56, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
