Jazzy B (given name Jaswinder Singh Bains) was born on April 1, 1975 [1] in Nawanshahr, Punjab. Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada[2] and residing in Birmingham, England, he calls himself the "Crown Prince of Bhangra".[2] He was discovered at the age of eighteen by bhangra producer Sukshinder Shinda, who has gone on to produce all of his albums.[1]
