Sean Phillips is a British comic book artist, inker, and penciller.
He is best known in the American comic industry for his work on DC Comics' Sleeper, WildC.A.T.s, Batman and Hellblazer.
Biography
Much of Phillips' British work has yet to be collected in book form, but he is best known for his work as the co-creator of Devlin Waugh for the Judge Dredd Megazine and Straitgate in Crisis (both of which were written by John Smith). He also illustrated several episodes of Judge Dredd in 2000 AD.
He is currently back working with Ed Brubaker on Criminal[1] [2] and a newer title Incognito[3] for Icon.
Phillips has also provided the art for the Criterion Collection release of the 1961 noir film Blast of Silence.[4]
