John Burke Krasinski (born October 20, 1979) is an American actor, film director and writer. He is most widely known for playing Jim Halpert on NBC's The Office.

Biography

Personal Life

Krasinski was born in the Brighton section of Boston, Massachusetts, the son of nurse Mary Clare (née Doyle) and internist Dr. Ronald Krasinski.[1][2] He has two older brothers, Kevin and Paul, and was raised Catholic in the suburb of Newton, Massachusetts.[3]
