Boo Cook is a British comic artist, whose work mainly features in the comic 2000 AD.

Biography

His chunky, detailed style, with debts to both Richard Corben and graffiti art,[citation needed] has graced such staples as the ABC Warriors and Judge Dredd, as well as newer series such as Asylum (written by Rob Williams) and Dead Men Walking (written by David Bishop).

In 2005, Cook graduated to regular work on the flagship story on 2000 AD, Judge Dredd, mostly to scripts by Gordon Rennie and Simon Spurrier. With Spurrier he developed new comedy character Harry Kipling.

Recently Boo Cook has contributed and started the 2000AD Online Charity Auction which you'll find on e-bay. Many famous artists of the comic have contributed as have some writers such as John Wagner. Cook has been providing the art for the latest Judge Anderson stories, written by Alan Grant. In addition he has been doing a lot of cover work, in particular on Marvel's X-Factor and also the Elephantmen: War Toys prequel mini-series, which has led to him providing the interior art for Elephantmen #21.
