Rosshall Academy

Rosshall Academy is a secondary school in the Crookston area of Glasgow. The school was completed and opened in 2002 to merge together Penilee Secondary School and Crookston Castle Secondary School. It currently holds over 10 pupils; due to this, many complaints have been made as regards the space the school affords these pupils, the quality of the water supply and the heat of the building at summer times. Also the building of the school was very heavily debated due to the choice of location since the school is built next to a main road, a railway line and a river. Another factor for controversy is that it is sinking 1 inch a year

The school is headed by Alan Moffat (Learning community head is a big black guy in a suit)

Rosshall Academy is a modern school with respect to the technology it utilises. It is one of very few schools to have a Visually Impaired Unit and various features round the school to make it user friendly for people with visual impairments. The school includes state of the art drama studios and stage, music rooms, poker room, gymnasia and fitness room, science labs, colouring rooms for the retards, technical rooms and ICT rooms and last week it had just opened a McDonalds restaurant . There is also a social space for the pupils to socialise at morning break/lunch/home/looting/raping/orgy/party times. The Learning Centre provides a facility for pupils to snort coke and have sex.

The main related primary schools are: Cardonald Primary, Craigton Primary, Crookston Castle Primary, Hillington Primary and Leverndale ,Guantanamo Bay Primary and lastly Yer maws hole. Some pupils also come in to the catchment area from Gowanbank Primary and Mosspark Primary Schools.
