Rob Williams is a British comic book writer, working mainly for 2000 AD.
Biography
Williams started out as a freelance journalist and creator of corporate videos.[1] He decided to try comcis writing resulting in Cla$$war, published by Com.x and illustrated by several artists, including Trevor Hairsine and Travel Foreman. It started published in 2002 and, after a three-year hiatus from the publisher a complete collection was released in 2009.[2]
The comic series was read by Andy Diggle, who was editor of 2000 AD, who contacted Willaims,[1] resulting in series like Low Life, with Henry Flint, and Asylum, with Boo Cook, both in 2000 AD, as well as one-offs like Breathing Space.[3] Williams has also written for the Star Wars Tales comics from Dark Horse, and his latest project is also with them, writing Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods.[4]
