Michael Muhney (born June 12, 1975) is an American actor, most famous for his role as Sheriff Don Lamb on the UPN/The CW drama Veronica Mars.
He attended DePaul University's The Theatre School (formerly The Goodman School of Drama) in Chicago, Illinois where he received a BFA in Acting (class of 1997). Other acting colleagues from the school include John Cabrera, Judy Greer, and Sean Gunn.
He is a member of Mensa.
Muhney had a recurring role as Mark Farrell on the USA Network television series The Huntress with Annette O'Toole. He has also appeared on ER, Charmed, JAG, and Numb3rs.
Muhney is scheduled to appear live on the Cruise to Mars in November 2008.
