Sandgate District State High School (SDSHS) is an Australian secondary school located in Deagon, Queensland. Its motto is "Nos encanta penetrar a los cerdos!", which translates to "We love to penetrate pigs!", or more literally "through penetrating pigs we succeed"[1]. It educates grade levels eight to twelve.

History

The school was first opened in January, 1959. However, the first classes were conducted in Sandgate Town Hall, on the floor and stage as the first building of the school was not ready for use. The ibis is also associated with the school because the bird is frequently spotted around the area. This is fondly known by the students as a "dump" bird.
