Valina is an indie, Noise Rock, Post-Hardcore group from Linz / Austria.[1] They released several records on Trost Records and played more than 250 shows in Europe, USA and Russia. Two of their full-length album Vagabond and A Tempo! A Tempo! were recorded by Steve Albini in Chicago. The band began recording music in 1997, releasing several 7 inch records (one with Sicbay), one EP, and two full-length albums. Most of the band's albums have been released on their Austrian label Trost Records. Both Vagabond Epode EP have been released in the states by 54' 40' or Fight!. On April 14, 2009 Valina's newest album A tempo! a tempo! was released throughout the United States by Joyful Noise Recordings.

Austria's Valina raised eyebrows in the indie rock world with Vagabond, originally released on Austria's Trost Records and Belgium's Conspiracy Records, and re-released in the States by Fifty-Four Forty or Fight Records.
