The BlackBerry Tour is a mobile phone developed by Research In Motion and is part of the 9600 device series.[2] [3] The 9630 is slated to be an EVDO rev.A variant for CDMA networks. The first carrier to carry the Blackberry Tour 9630 is Telus, a CDMA telecom provider in Canada with a target to-market date of June 22, 2009. According to The Boy Genius Report, the expected release date for Verizon Wireless is the week of July 13th 2009 and Sprint sometime in the fall.[4]
