Jeff Gorell (born 1970) is a Republican who is a candidate for California's 37th State Assembly district in 2010. He has been endorsed by incumbent Assembly Member Audra Strickland of the California State Assembly, and her husband, Senator Tony Strickland of the California State Senate. Gorell, a former Ventura County Deputy District Attorney, is a small business owner, adjunct professor of public policy at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, and a naval reserve officer. He has also been endrosed by the Ventura County Republican Party.

Jeff Gorell is the only declared Republican in the 2010 race.

Education

Gorell earning his Bachelors of Arts degree in history, at the University of California, Davis. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree in law, at the McGeorge School of Law.

Jeff Gorell resides in Camarillo with his wife, Laura, and two children, Ashley and Jack.
