Halosarcia is a valid but obsolete name for a plant genus in the family Amaranthaceae. In 2007, Halosarcia was incorporated into the genus Tecticornia along with three other Australian genera: Pachycornia, Sclerostegia and Tegicornia.[1]

The genus formerly 23 species, all of which were native to Australia, although one also extended into Malaysia and beyond.
