Sura is a forthcoming Tamil film to be written and directed by S. P. Rajakumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. Confirmed stars of the film include Vijay and Tamanna Bhatia. The film was previously titled as Urimai Kural, while its current title was the announced title of a few previously announced films. The film is expected to be released on Ilayathalapathy Vijay's birthday ,June 22, 2010.
The film is projected to be launched on 18 September 2009, and, upon release, shall be Vijay's 50th feature film.[1]
The distribution rights of the film Sura is bought by Sun pictures for an astounding 32 crores. Not only this is an astronomical sum, it’s also quite unusual of Sun to procure the rights of a movie while it’s still under production..[2]
