Al-Quds Star (نجمه القدس in Arabic, Najmat alQuds) is named after al-Quds (Jerusalem)
Design
The star is an Eight headed star, that shows the Eight sides of the Octagon Dome of the Rock; the First Qibla of Islam. The Eight headed star is very common in Islam, where it is used to present Rub el Hizb (ربع الحزب).
