Manomohan Acharya, a Sanskrit poet was born in the village Lathanga in Jagatsinghpur district in Orissa, India[1]. He is a poet and lyricist with a number of books. His famous lyric Madhava-bhajanam is musically composed by A.R.Rehman and danced by Shilpa Shetty in the Indo-chinese Movie, The Desire.[2][3] His devotional songs are included in Bhakti Sangeeta C.D.of Prajnan Mission, viena.[4]. Dr. Acharya is also a researcher of high order with many books and research articles to his credit.[5] [6] He has been awarded by many National and International academies and organizations.
