James


Faruk Mahfuz Anam (Bangla: ফারুক মাহফুজ আনাম), popularly known as James or Guru is a Bangladeshi hard rock singer. He rose to fame with his Hindi song 'Bheegi Bheegi', written for the 2006 Bollywood hit film Gangster.[1] He is among Bangladesh's most popular singers,[2] and has toured internationally with his band Nagar Baul.[3] He is described as having pioneered psychedelic rock in Bangladesh.[4]

Early Life and Career

He was born in the city of Rajshahi and later move to Dhaka to develop his music career.
