Taapsee Pannu is an Indian model-turned-film actress who has appeared in Tamil and Telugu films. She is an ethnic Punjabi from the city of Ludhiana, Punjab, and was a software engineer before pursuing modelling which eventually led her to acting.[1] Appearing in several commercials, Taapsee also won Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin, during her modelling days.[2]
