Walter De Donder (July 12 1960) is a Flanders, actor and politician.

He was always active in the amateur. He had a puppet that Bibberlip name. His breakthrough came when he was in 1989 by the producer of the children's TV Samson en Gert was asked once by a mayor role to play. It was a solid role and the thunder was his hobby into his work to make.

From 1998 he Kabouter Plop in the same kindergarten series, also produced by Studio 100.

In 1996 he starred in a movie with less child-friendly title ofGod damn it!?In 2000 he joined as a gay cop in the satirical program Brussels New Street, with Koen Crucke also in play with Samson and Gert.

Thunder is active in the CD & V and in 2000 for the CD & V elected to the City of Affligem. In 2006 he was reelected. It was agreed that he end of 2010 ships will sit under Mayor Yvan T'Kint, from 2011 he takes over the mayor sash.
