There's also a large amount of children's entertainment offered, feauring Northgate Stadium 10 Kids Summer Movie Camp, The Little Shoppers' Club, Adventure Station, Island Carousel, Milk and Cookies with Santa, Jump House and Power Jump making an all-round attractive destination for shoppers.


Northgate Stadium 10, a 10-screen movie theater, is in the process of adding its 2nd auditorium with a 3D Digital Upgrade in time for all the summers 3D Film releases. A number of exterior shops in the "Plaza", include a Marble Slab Creamery, Regency Beauty, and Lace Creations, are part of the mall's exterior adjacent to the theater in an outdoor shopping experience similar to other malls in the area.

Adjacent to the mall are "The Shops at Northgate" a strip-style plaza on the property's west side includes [[Guitar Center]], C&H Cafeteria, a regional cafeteria chain, and [[Office Depot]].
A [[Belk|Hudson-Belk]] store closed in 2005 and has been converted to [[Northgate Stadium 10]], a 10-screen movie theater [http://www.eastcoastcinemas.com ] Additionally, a number of exterior shops, including a [[Marble Slab Creamery]], are being added to the mall's exterior adjacent to the theater, in an effort to create an upscale outdoor shopping experience similar to other malls in the area. Construction work continues for the development of new stores and shopping in the new "plaza" section of the mall, with construction crews working on building out the rest of the new space in the mall. According to a member of the mall's security staff, between 10 and 15 tenants are signed to round out the plaza, which is reportedly scheduled to complete construction by early 2007.

Northgate Mall Northgate Mall is a shopping mall located off I-85 and Gregson Street (exit 176) in Durham, North Carolina. This mall is situated in Northern Durham less than a mile form Duke University and some of Durham's most attractive and upscale neighborhoods, including Trinity Park, Trinity Heights, Duke Park, Watts-Hillandale, and Croasdaile. The mall has been the dominant regional shopping complex for the past 50 years.
