Dr. Masoud Hedayatifard (Persian: مسعود هدایتیفرد), born in 1971 in Babol, Mazandaran province, Iran is a specialist in fisheries science and industries. He was the first person in the country to obtain a PhD in fisheries products and seafood industries. From 1997, he is a faculty member of the Islamic Azad University. Dr. M. Hedayatifard has published more than 80 articles aquatic areas in English and Persian and some of them have been re-indexed in ISI Journas, Academic Journals, and Scientific Information Database.
