Kira Reed (born October 13, 1971 in Santa Clara, California) is an American porn star, sex symbol, and now television producer.

Reed studied acting at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky; and Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, graduating in 1989. She then studied at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, graduating in 1994.

After graduation, she went into a career in erotica, posing for Playboy Magazine (December 1996) and starring in over thirty Playboy produced R-rated movies, including The Price Of Desire, Alien Files, Losing Control, Secrets Of A Chambermaid, Forbidden Highway, and Red Shoe Diaries. Reed also had roles in Perversions of Science, NYPD Blue and The War At Home.

Reed moved her career towards production, initially as a reporter and then producer on Playboy TV's series Sexcetera. She produced the "Bunny's" Naked Happy Girls series and is the writer & supervising producer of Playboy's 69 Sexy Things 2 Do Before You Die. She has also worked as a producer for E!, Eleventh Day Entertainment and Associated Television International.

Kira can be seen in front of the camera as the Backstage Host for The Daytime Emmy Awards and the Red Carpet Host for the Hollywood Christmas Parade.
