Warning: Speedy deletion nomination

Hey there! Since you're pretty heavily involved in the 2011 PanAm Games pages, I just thought you might want to know that Badminton at the 2011 Pan American Games – Mixed doubles was nominated for speedy deletion but denied by an administrator. (more details here) I don't understand why that user would want to speedily delete that article, but I guess that's just how things go. As always, Happy editing! Userfying pages?

Someone suggested that I userfy the Badminton at the 2011 Pan American Games – Mixed doubles page (read here). What do you think? Prayerfortheworld (talk) 04:01, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What do u exactly mean by "userfying"? Intoronto1125 (talk) 14:30, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Userfying would be creating a user page and preserving the code on that page in case the page is deleted. More info here: WP:Userfy. By the way, I moved the conversation back here so it would be easier for us to view the conversations that I started here in one place. Sorry for any inconvenience that might have caused. Prayerfortheworld (talk) 15:53, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think maybe we should redirect it until more information comes in, as userfying would be too much work. What do you think? Intoronto1125 (talk) 16:04, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect it to where? Actually, userfying the pages isn't that much of a hassle, but moving them back may be. I think, though, that it should be okay if we just leave it as is. I'm fine with that. Also, did you see my post on the other section of my talk page about the tennis events? (see the whisperback) Thanks! Prayerfortheworld (talk) 22:23, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
This block is based on Checkuser evidence. You have logged out of your account to post attacks on other editors on multiple occasions. Please do not lift this block without consulting me or reviewing the CU evidence yourself. I apologise for not being able to give the diffs, as that would violate meta:Privacy policy. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have no idea what is going on! I have not personally attacked anyone (maybe during an edit war earlier this year when things got heated. Also, my Ip Address is 71.25.217.68 according to [3] and I have not attacked anyone. Is there an explanation please. (I do share my internet modem with family members maybe that is the error?) Intoronto1125 (talk) 3:05 pm, Today (UTC−4)

Decline reason:

Not only is the IP you listed not yours, it's a completely different ISP than the one you've used for the past three months. TNXMan 19:18, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Furthermore, I've reviewed the same evidence Courcelles did and have come to the same conclusion. TNXMan 19:19, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

This request is giving me a hard time. I acknowledge the many constructive edits you made to the project. But I cannot ignore the sneaky personal attacks you wrote.
Edits like this poison the collaborative atmosphere we are trying to create, and can sabotage the motivation of other good editors. I am very disappointed by this incident, the attempted coverup, and the lies both here and on IRC, and it leaves me with grave doubts about your maturity at this point.
Nonetheless, in my opinion everyone deserves a second chance. I am thus going to turn the indefinite block of this account into a one week block, and leave you with the information that I will periodically check your IP address for further problematic edits. I hope to never again find any.
