Dear Wizzy, could you shut the fuck up, unless you have something constructive to say. No, doubt, that article will arrive, in its final form as g-d intended, and you are free to attack it then, but as far as the validity of the topic is concerned, suck my *453

Neutrality and Bias

Information icon Hello, I'm [[User:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}]]. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on [[User_talk:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}|my talk page]]. Thank you.

The content of your submitted article (South Africa - Media) is in breach of Wikipedia's Guidelines. Please refrain from posting or factually-biased articles, regardless of how much you consider them to be true. If necessary, please discuss in the article's Discussion page before making edits of this nature.

Another Welcome!

Welcome, from one South African to (I presume) another South African.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you of Wikipedia's neutral-point-of-view policy for editors. You may also be interested in reading The five pillars of Wikipedia, our Help pages, the Tutorial, the policy on citing sources, and our Manual of Style.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Hey mate,chill out. Please stop targeting one or more user's pages or talk pages for abuse or insults, unwarranted doctoring or blanking. It can be seen as vandalism and may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Furthermore: Please try and keep a cool head, despite comments people may make against you. Personal attacks and disruptive comments will only escalate a situation; please keep calm and action can be taken against the other parties if necessary. Your involvement in attacking back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors, and lead to general bad feeling. Please try and be civil. Thanks! (CJ) dewet| 13:18, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Great Welcome, thanks for blocking me!

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Ethnopunk (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Please provide a reason as to why you should be unblocked.
Change {{unblock}} to {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}}

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=original unblock reason |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=original unblock reason |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=original unblock reason |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at User:Dewet, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.Shaun Eccles-Smith 12:52, 21 March 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Precisely DeWet

Could you please not delete the Alternative South Africa page, even though its content may contain queer or feminist references that you disagree with! Regardless of policy, I will retaliate if you insist on policing content that fails to live up to the standards of "white South Africa". Passive-aggressive behaviour such as exhibited by some of my compatriots, lead to campuses being invaded by baton-wielding cops during the 80s, in the mistaken assumption that our thoughts and ideas could be changed by force! As for Wikipedias Neutrality and Biase? When Nestle makes reperations for apartheid war crimes, then we can all talk about biase. Neutrality on a national page? Forget it!

South African Blocks

Okay, I get it, there's some weirdo called Crowbaaa, and I am not he!!

"Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "Crowbaaa". The reason given for Crowbaaa's block is: "constant disruption of WP:AN / WP:ANI, trolling"."

Would somebody please rectify the situation so that I don't lose it everytime something interesting happens. Ethnopunk 11:29, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is a current problem of SAIX proxies being blocked. As you have found, you can only edit your own talk page. In light of that, and the questionable validity of Alternative South Africa, I strongly suggest you develop the page as Dewet suggests - as a sub-page of your own. Why don't you develop existing pages, like Culture of South Africa instead (it seems to be what you are striving for ?) Alternative South Africa is heading for another going-going-gone unless it radically improves. Wizzy 11:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
