As a network, Res Artis has initiated several ongoing programs and projects. Organised by working groups, all Res Artis members have the ability to become involved in these initiatives, bringing to the projects their own unique resources, experience and energies.

* '''Res Artis Awards''' : Through the Res Artis Awards, our network is able to directly support the mobility of artists by offering fully funded residency opportunities as awards. The venue of the Res Artis awards is a biennial or other art event hosted by a partner organisation. The awards are provided by our member organisations directly to the artist of their choosing. Res Artis Awards were first presented at the Dakart Biennial in 2006, offering 11 fully funded residencies to exhibiting African artists.

It is a long-term project, offering a variety of options to provide Emerging Res Artis Members with assistance and advice during the challenging period of initializing a residency program. ResSupport is a program for Res Artis Members.

Res Artis--the worldwide network of residential art programs.

We are an association of over 400 centers, organisations, and individuals in over 50 countries. Each of our members is dedicated to offering artists, curators, and all manner of creative people the essential time and place away from the pressures and habits of every-day life, an experience framed within a unique geographic and cultural context.

Through Res Artis, organisations will become part of a global community of colleagues engaged in dialogue through our face-to-face meetings and virtually through our website.

Those interested in attending a residency can use the information and resources on our website, gaining insights into the profiles of our members and staying informed about their events and application deadlines.
