The ad also includes a license plate that reads "I do" and hearts scattered everywhere. Just because gay marriage is legal in a few states does not mean this is appropriate marketing. One Million Moms (OMM) is an anti-gay pro-censorship group based on the ideals they describe as "traditional family values". The organization operates largely online, promoting campaigns to coerce television programs, advertisers, and television networks to cease or cease support of materials the group finds objectionable. JC Penney & Ellen DeGeneres
The group has protested the store JC Penney[5] in response to the company's choice to adopt openly homosexual comedienne Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson.
Modern Family
OMM has also targeted the ABC program Modern Family, attempting to force advertisers to pull support from the program. This is due to the show portraying a male homosexual couple, as well as an utterance of profanity.[6]
Other campaigns
The group has also targeted companies such as Macy's, Mattel, Jenny Craig, Family Dollar. They led a campaign to get Ben & Jerry's to discontinue their flavor "Schweddy Balls", named after a Saturday Night Live skit. [7]

Critisism
OMM has taken credit for the interruption of a second season of the MTV series [[2]].[8] OMM purports their actions are to protect children from 'inappropriate' media. However, Skins is branded as a Teen Drama, not targets at a young audience. Also, the show was hosted on MTV, a network that does not air any kind of children's programming.[9]
Actual Number of Members
Per the group's own Facebook[10] page, the actual number of members is closer to 40,000.
