A single for both the opening and ending theme song of the TV series .hack//Sign titled Obsession/Yasashii Yoake (Obsession/優しい夜明け) was released on May 22, 2002 by Victor Entertainment.[1] The Japanese pop duo See-Saw, whose members consist of Chiaki Ishikawa (vocals) and Yuki Kajiura (music, lyrics and arrangement), performs both the opening theme "Obsession", and the ending theme "Yasashii Yoake".
