This is in follow-up to my multiple email correspondence (Aug 19 and 14, 2012, July 23, 2012, Sept 28, 21 and 8, 2011 - "RE: [Ticket#2011092110018521] Living Person bio assistance"), and on-going issues with a Living Person Bio. Despite correspondence with wiki support and Mr. Weeks and Mr. Jim Ramble of September 2011 (see ticket ref 2011092110018521) with regards to the continued vandalism and incorrect bio information in the living person's bio of Laura Kightlinger's bio at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Kightlinger, and being told by Mr. Weeks and Mr. Ramble that the page would be watched to prevent changes to the birthdate and shcool bio details, the page has been repeatedly changed. After on-going issues with the particular biography and also attacks about my use of my user account, I located on the wikipedia pages, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Contact_us/Article_problem, the following statement: "Due to their sensitivity, problems with biographies and other articles discussing living people, raised by the person concerned or their representative, may always go to the volunteer response team, if desired." Based on the above, I wrote for assistance with regard to Ms. Kightlinger's bio. |

After the most recent changes, three times in August 2012, I sent multiple messages to wikisupport asking for assitance on the issue. After no response, and after I reverted the changes out (current user accout CPESQS), I shockingly get a message from Mr. Ramble (Ramblingman) warning me about making the changes and that my account could be subject to suspension. This despite our prior emails on the issue, and the lack of response from wikimedia. As set forth in the below emails from 2011, I've offered to provide (under agreement of confidentiality as to posting the documents) a copy of Ms. Kightlinger's CA driver's license to prove the info in her bio is false WP:BLPEDIT. Mr. Ramble stated he would help protect the bio. Instead, now, the bio continually is changed and I am warned/blocked from correcting the false info, which user Danlaycock keeps re-inserting and removing valid updates. |

As set forth in Ticket#2011092110018521 correspondence, the issue relates mostly to Ms. Kightlinger's date of birth, and years of school attendance and graduation dates. She was born June 13, 1969 and is a 1986 graduate of Southwestern High School and she attended Emerson College from 1986 through 1989. Her bio has, without any basis, falsely listed her as being born in '64 based on one person's false unsourced listing that she graduated high school in 1982 (which is false), and therefore, by conjecture, she must have been born earlier than '69. Again, we just want an accurate bio -- please help. I have a copy of a government issues valid California driver's license listing Ms. Kightlinger's date of birth of June 13, 1969. For obvious privacy issues, this is not a document that can be posted or provided to just anyone, but I am more than willing to make some sort of reasonable arrangements to show proof, possibly to the wikipedia office versus to a volunteer, as, again, it is of safety and privacy concern to provide a actual copy of a driver's license or other verifiable source records. Also, Ms. Kightlinger did not graduate Emerson College in 1986 as was falsely listed (using an incorrect unofficial article from a alumni of the school without any knowedge), she started at Emerson in 1986, in the fall, after graduating high school in June 1986, and attended Emerson for three years, leaving without graduating to pursue a career in entertainment. I have sought to remove the inaccurate high school graduation date, and remove inaccurate reference to a college graduation and date, but user Danlaycock keeps reverting and making changes. |
