Hello, HJ Mitchell. I chose your name randomly from the list of administrators willing to grant rollback, and I'd like to request the tool. I've been patrolling the recent changes page for a while and have been using Twinkle to rollback edits. When I was first using TW on recent changes, I made some errors, but learned from them quickly. At this point, I think I'm using TW correctly and fairly, and would like to venture into the world of being a "Rollbacker". I'd certainly appreciate it if you would see fit to allow me the privilege. Thank you. -- Winkelvi ● ✉ ✓ 00:14, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to my talk page! If you have a question, ask me. If I know the answer, I'll tell you; if I don't, I'll find out (or one of my talk-page stalkers might know!), then we'll both have learnt something!

Reassessment

Reposting since it got archived Hi HJ, I hope all is well. I know you are away, but if you get a chance to do this it would be great. One of the conditions of my return was that you would review the restrictions after six months. Since that time has elapsed, I was wondering if you would reassess. Thanks for your consideration. Just noting I've seen this. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:38, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Image for Shreveport

Greetings HJ, I noticed you recently deleted an image regarding Shreveport that was used on quite a number of things including a template and the Shreport project. I would recommend in the future if an image is deleted that is high use, it might be beneficial to leave a note on the appropriate projects page. Not that you need to do that in every case, but it seems useful in the cases where its used heavily by a project. Happy editing. Kumioko (talk) 14:38, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see where you're coming from, but it was one of a batch of images I deleted last night (some here, some on Commons) after a complaint to OTRS led me to them. I suppose a courtesy notification might not hurt, but the popularity of an image won't save it from deletion if it was uploaded in violation of somebody else's copyright. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:49, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yep no worries. I fixed it in Template:WikiProject United States but lord knows when it will be implemented. There's a huge stack of changes pending implementation for that template and its growing by the day. I have several more to do still. I left the edit request template on there for a week and after no one did anything I just removed it since it apparently isn't important. Eventually if the changes become important enough then maybe someone with admin rights will implement them since I'm not allowed too. Kumioko (talk) 16:37, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive edits on Terry McAuliffe

Instaurare is making disruptive non-neutral edits on Terry McAuliffe, such as calling him a "tireless money man".

I, LitmusCycle, and Safehaven86 have made it clear that his edits are non-neutral and does not belong on the article, but he does not seem too care.

Instaurare also make edits to Ken Cuccinelli who is the direct opponent to Terry McAuliffe in the coming election, which I believe is a conflict of interest. Illegal Operation (talk) 00:39, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Illegal Operation, can we please work together instead of you trying to shut me down with ridiculous insinuations? Instaurare (talk) 15:44, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That won't be passible since you ignore everyone else. Illegal Operation (talk) 23:08, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The article talk page shows that is not true. Instaurare (talk) 00:30, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

htOptimal_Computing_Budget_Allocation

Hello my name is Alexandre Cheytanov and I am doing research on Optimal Computing Budget Allocation. Through my research I found this link to view research by one my previous professors. The link is provided below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimal_Computing_Budget_Allocation I see that the article has been removed due to promotional/advertising. I would still like to read the article. I have emailed the professor who did the research but he does not have a copy of the specific article. Could you please send me the article that was posted under this link vie email at acheytan@masonlive.gmu.edu

Thank you very much
