Automatic Systems is a Belgian company founded in 1969 and specialised in automated secure entrance control and access control equipment.[1]
The company is part of the IER Group which in turn belongs to the Bolloré Group. Automatic Systems designs and manufactures pedestrian, vehicle and passenger access systems equipment.[2]

1969 Creation of Automatic Systems by Michel Coenraets in Brussels, company specialised in automatic rising barriers.
1971 First export of rising barriers to the Frankfurt Airport, Germany.
1974 Opening of Automatic Systems subsidiary in Paris, France.
1983 First supply of double turnstiles to the Manila Metro, Philippines.
1986 Opening of two new subsidiaries in Montreal, Canada and Barcelona, Spain.
1994 Creation of its British subsidiary and supply of toll highway equipment for China, Chile and Mexico.
1998 Creation of BCA further to the acquisition of ASEA-ABB Barriers Division.
2001 PNG 38x are UL certified in compliance with best North American regulatory standards.
2002 Automatic Systems is acquired by Bolloré and joins IER Group.[4]
2005 First delivery of automated gates for boarding (QBG) and border crossing (SNG).
2008 Automatic Systems wins The Wallonia Export Award.[5]
2013 Opening of Automatic Systems chinese subsidiary in Taicang-Suzhou for the production and supply of Asian-Pacific-Indian markets.
