Cytherellidae is a family of ostracods, and is the only living family in the order, Platycopida,[3] although the family Punciidae is also sometimes included.[4] Members of the family have existed since the Jurassic.[5] It contains 6 genera:[3]

- Cytherelloidea Alexander, 1929
- Grammcythella Swanson et al., 2005
- Inversacytherella Swanson et al., 2005
- Keijcyoidea Malz, 1981
- Platella Coryell & Fields, 1937
