Hi. This is your warning and advice. Removing and re-inserting tags is *not* immune from 3RR. You were not reverting blatant vandalism, which is the only thing immune from 3RR. Please be more careful in future or you will be blocked [[User:William M. Connolley|William M. Connolley]] 09:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads-up! It never hurts to try, so I'll revert him silently if I see it again. I've just recently discovered the joys of RC patrol and I have lots to learn, so I'm grateful for all the RC "gossip" I can get. :-)
Thanks again! - [[User:BaseballBaby|BaseballBaby]] 01:12, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Comment Please place new comments at the end of this page. All new topics should have titles made by ==doing this==. Also, please sign your messages with ~~~~. I will reply on your user discussion page with your post included. Thanks!

This page is a free speech zone. Tell me what you really think. Do not remove comments of other users, even if you think they could be personal attacks. Note: I copied this directly from User talk:Buchanan-Hermit because I suck at formatting for Wikipedia.

Note: I will archive inactive discussions once the page reaches 25 topics.

Well then

Well it definitely needs a new title. That picture is insulting to drummers, calling himself (if it's him) a session drummer? Can't the caption just be left at "A drummer practicing?" I don't see how he's a session drummer, if you know what a session drummer is. If there needs to be a picture of a session drummer there, then that picture should be taken down and someone like Josh Freese should be put up. I think a different caption is needed, seeing as that drummer in no way is a session drummer or is using a session quality set. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.188.132 (talkcontribs)

Hello HawkerTyphoon

Hello, thank you for your Message. I was just messing about on James Masterton's Page. I only left my comments on his page for about an hour - if that - then I erased them.

I realise that it was childish of me. However, they were hardly the worst things ever written - certainly about him.

I will refrain from doing such things in future, but if I see errors on Wikipedia Pages, or omissions, I will correct them. I cannot bear to see errors on this or that matter or subject.

Mr. Masteron has a Weekly Chart Commentary Column, at Launch.uk. Nearly every Week he makes silly errors in it. If you try to tell him in an E-mail, his answer is to block your E-mails - THAT is what I call an extremely childish response.

He is not interested in being corrected - only in feeling untouchable & superior.

Hence, if the man annoys me - or anyone else - his Wikipedia Page, was the only place to show what I/we think of him.

However, as I said, I will not do it again.

Best Wishes,

Colin —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.5.163.139 (talkcontribs) .

Flails

Now the flail has been deleted, my userpage is without a good image for the award you gave me? Care to alter it a bit? Thanks. --Lord Deskana I VALUE YOUR OPINIONS 20:48, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Wozniak

I reverted this reversion because Your Only Real Friend's edit introduced a necessary apostrophe. Michael Slone (talk) 01:57, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Meh. Pouint of contention: I was always taught that you put an apostrophe where there is a letter missing. I'm not really in the mood to argue it. I still think I am right, but for the sake of it being 3am, I'll let it lie.
This time.
xxx HawkerTyphoon 02:12, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The apostrophe is also used to mark case. The character Woz, as far as I can tell from reading Eureka 7, is not just one who hacks on ships, but in particular is the hacker of the ship Gekko-Go. That would make him the ship's hacker. But if you still feel the apostrophe is unwarranted, I won't argue if you remove it. Michael Slone (talk) 03:05, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neo-Nazism

Please, restrain from further vandalization of this article. There are so many who agreed to keep these two paragraphs - just check the history of changes!

<quote> Please do not re-add these paragraphs - they have been discussed on talk, and the current concensus is that they are NOT to be included. If you can find some other users who agree with you, I'll stop reverting your edits. But until then, the community doesnt agree with you. HawkerTyphoon 22:26, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

You seem to be the only person re-adding the changes in, is all. Who else has been? I can't see anyone off-handHawkerTyphoon 22:30, 22 June 2006 (UTC) </quote>

Please, note that I am not the one who wants these paragraphs seen here! It is quite visible from the history of the changes! Also, do not speak about consensus nor about community - it's simply meaningless!
So, you are stubbornly removing the paragraphs! The same way - they'll go back!

Blubber's response

Do you have anything to say for your nerdy little self? I can't believe you're discriminating against overweight people. I'm doing whatever the beep I want to, so lay off me, or you will be indefinitely blocked from editing wikipedia. user:Blubber

about edit wars

I would recommend that both you and 4.249.9.152 (talk · contribs) read the guidelines on dealing with edit wars.

<quote>

Edit Wars Alright. We shouldn't argue about this; I am not Croatian and I have no intention of ever going there. I do, however, feel that the two paragraphs don't really have much do with the article in question: I think they rerad a bit like an arguement for a cetrtain point of view! From your standard of English, i'm assuming you're Croatian (No offence intended) - why do you want the paragraphs in? HawkerTyphoon 20:25, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

</quote>

Just a few words:

  • no need to tell me who you are not, nor to ask me Who am I
  • these two paragraphs are just about revival of the neo-nazism in Croatia

Re: Neo-Nazism Edit War

I've done some rewriting per WP:NPOV, but I've also noted on the talk page that the passage cannot survive with the sources provided per WP:RS. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 20:30, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the article Neo-Nazism, specifically the part about Croatia.... I'm involved in an edit war with an IP address. I reverted some of his edits, as what i saw on the talk page convinced me that the article wasn't NPOV. I've read into the matter somewhat, and I'm rather convinced it isn't. I removed the offending paragraphs, but the IP address added them back. I left notes on his talk page, but He doesn't seem to reply. he mentions on my talk page the Concensus and Community are meaningless, and when I tried to meet him half way, by applying an 'unbalanced' tag but leaving the paragraphs in, he removes it. Any suggestions? I think we'd both appreciate your input! HawkerTyphoon 20:00, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Edit wars are a bad thing here on the English Wikipedia and the three revert rule is a policy designed to eliminate them. The edit history of Neo-Nazism indicates that you have clearly broken this rule within a 24-hour period. By rights, I should block you and the offending IP address for this violation. I notice that you have attempted to resolve the dispute on Talk:Neo-Nazism, which is a good thing. As this hasn't worked so far, I will encourage you to take the next step and go on with negotiation in order to build consensus. Mediation might be better in this instance - I leave the choice up to you. I will report the 3RR violations on the administrators' noticeboard to bring this to the attention of the administrator community and hopefully prevent this from reoccuring.  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  22:03, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
