Collabro are an English boy band known for their performance on Britain's Got Talent.

History

The band formed a month prior to their audition for Britain's Got Talent.

Britain's Got Talent

In early 2014, Collabro auditioned in London for the eighth series of the ITV television programme Britain's Got Talent where they received a standing ovation from both the audience and judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden for their rendition of the song "Stars" from the musical Les Misérables. They received a unanimous "yes" verdict from the judging panel, with Cowell describing their performance as a "hit record" while fellow judge Holden was reduced to tears by the performance.

They have an enthusiastic following who they refer to as their "collaborators" and famous fans include Jade from the band Little Mix[1].

Other Public Appearances

On 25 April 2014 the group appeared on the ITV television programme This Morning to discuss their appearance on Britain's Got Talent[2].

On 18 May 2014 the members of Collabro (excluding Richard Hadfield) will be appearing at the Soccer Six charity football tournament at The Valley, home ground of Charlton Athletic F.C.[3].

"The Zoo"

The band members refer to themselves as animals, and collectively as "the zoo":
