Community gardens have been sprouting up in Omaha, Nebraska (where there are 26 community gardens as of May 2014) and in southeastern Nebraska.[1] The second annual "Tour de Gardens" was held in Omaha in 2014 with approximately 100 riders visiting 8 gardens and a root facility.[2] Funding support for Omaha's community gardens comes from the USDA's Community Food Projects program.[1]
